CSL working with Local Government

We were approached by a Local Council in November 2013 as we had been recognised as an organisation with the necessary experience surrounding document management, document scanning, document control and business processes.

The Council were looking for a business who could provide a thorough Document Audit of the Councils premises.  The information gathered was to aid the Council to be able to make decisions on What to keep, for how long and the best methods to keep the documents.  In addition our audit highlighted which departments generated or received the most paper, how they processed it and whether the existing processes were being dealt with in the most effective way.

Complete Scanning over delivered from the original brief and delivered over 15 suggestions of additional projects that would benefit the Council; these benefits were both financial and improvements to existing processes.  We delivered a relational database of the information gathered which enabled the Council to interrogate the data to provide in-depth reports and analysis as required.
